Yes! One of the main goals for some patients is posture correction which we use a multi-faceted approach to help get corrected.

The chiropractor will test the joints in the spine and extremities and evaluate the motion of those segments in multiple directions. If there is tension, tenderness, a joint fixation, and inflammation in one area as opposed to another, a chiropractic adjustment will be delivered to that area. The patient will feel a pre-tensive feeling, followed by a quick force into the segment, then a post-tensive feeling to limit a “rebound” for better comfort. Lastly, the doctor will re-assess the motion of the segment that was moved.
